Over 600 students attended Morton College’s highly-successful New Student Orientation program August 15th and 16th.
Those participating in NSO 2.0 have a leg up of what to expect on the first day of the Fall Semester on Monday, August 19th. NSO 2.0’s purpose is to kick off the new academic year and create positive energy for new students.
Noted motivational speaker Stan Pearson II inspired the students by telling them what it takes to be successful in and out of the classroom.
Students also took part in a Goose Chase scavenger hunt, which provided them a fun way to explore the campus and learn about where resources are located.
All attending students were entered into a raffle to win prizes such as iPads, book vouchers and $500 scholarships from the Morton College Foundation. New students walked away with excitement, information and made some new friends along the way.
