Computer Aided Design
Morton College offers comprehensive Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs designed to equip students with the technical skills needed for careers in engineering, architecture, and manufacturing. The college provides both Associate degrees and certificate options in CAD, allowing students to choose a path that fits their educational and career goals. Coursework covers essential software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit, emphasizing practical application and industry standards. Graduates of these programs are prepared to enter the workforce as CAD technicians, drafters, or design professionals, with the ability to create precise technical drawings and 3D models used in various design and production processes.

This curriculum prepares students for entry-level employment ranging from CAD operators to mechanical designers using AutoCAD software. Courses are taught in state-of-the-art facilities and feature the latest release of AutoCAD.

This two-semester curriculum is designed for students or working professionals in need to learn and/or update their skills using Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit software’s for Architectural Residential and Commercial Design. Including (MEP) Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and (BIM) Building Information Modeling Applications.
