In-District Workers

Employees of for-profit and nonprofit businesses or agencies located within the Morton College District 527 may enroll in Morton College courses at the in-district tuition rate with written approval of their employer or a valid pay stub. Letters verifying employment must be on company letterhead and include:

  • Employer name

  • Employer address

  • Employer business phone

  • Supervisor name, title, and signature

  • Employee name and position

  • Dates of employment

  • Hours worked per week (must be at least 35 hours per week)

To be eligible for the in-district tuition rate, the “In-District Employment Verification Form” along with an employer letter or the most recent pay stub, must be presented either 30 days before the start of the term or at the time of initial registration for the semester. Employment verification forms are available in the Office of Registration and Records, located on the first floor of the One Stop Center.
