Career Services Office
One of the most important steps when entering college is connecting with the Career Services Office. We support Morton College students, alumni, community members, and employers throughout the Morton College district.
Meeting with Career Services early helps students understand their career options, explore employment pathways, and begin planning for their future. Throughout the year, we offer workshops, classroom visits and events designed to help students build the NACE Career Readiness Core Competencies needed to succeed in today’s competitive workforce.

First-time appointments are scheduled for 1 hour, while returning students may book 30-minute sessions. To schedule an appointment, please contact careerservices@morton.edu and include your name, student ID, phone number, and the services you are requesting.

Hours
Spring/Fall Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 m (Closed weekends)
Summer Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m – 4:30 pm (Closed Fridays and weekends)
Appointment Policies
Cancellations
If you are unable to keep you your appointment, please cancel 24 hours in advance. We will make every effort to reschedule the appointment within five business days.
Tardiness
If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, you will be asked to reschedule the appointment on another date.
No-Show
If you fail to attend more than two scheduled appointments without cancelling, you will be required to utilize walk-in hours for future services. Walk-in hours are available Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Morton College uses College Central Network (CCN) as its official resume and job posting service. Local employers post jobs exclusively to our school via the CCN site. Students and alumni create your account profile here to:
Easily search and apply to local and national full-time, part-time, internship/co-op job opportunities

On-Campus Employment
Please note that the Career Services office does not handle on-campus employment. Visit the Human Resources website or the HR office in Building B, Room 211 for permanent part-time and full-time employment opportunities at Morton College. Students interested in applying for an open student aide position may visit the Human Resources website and click the "Classified" button.
Events and Workshops
Take advantage of our FREE workshops and events open to all students, community and alumni. Topics range from choosing a major, job search strategies, using social media effectively for networking purposes, resumé writing, and more. Typical events throughout the year may include:
