The Office of Admissions & Records works collaboratively with students, staff, and the community to deliver high-quality service and support. We serve as stewards of academic records, ensuring accuracy in registration, grading, graduation, enrollment verification, reporting, and international student assistance.

In-District Workers:
Employees of for-profit and nonprofit businesses or agencies located within the Morton College District 527 may enroll in Morton College courses at the in-district tuition rate with written approval of their employer or a valid pay stub. Letters verifying employment must be on company letterhead and include:
- Employer name
- Employer address
- Employer Business Phone
- Supervisor Name, Title and Signature
- Employee Name and Position
- Dates of Employment
- Works at least 35 hours per week
To be eligible for the in-district tuition rate, the “In-District Employment Verification Form,” along with an employer letter or the most recent pay stub, must be presented either 30 days before the start of the term or at the time of initial registration for the semester.
Employment verification forms are available in the Office of Admissions and Records, located on the first floor of the One Stop Center.

Residence Policy:
For tuition purposes, all students enrolling at Morton College each semester must submit proof of residence. As proof of residency, we accept one of the following:
- Driver’s license
- Current voter’s registration card
- Current bank statement
- Current utility bill
- State of Illinois photo ID card
District residency does not apply to international students on visas. Students changing their residence during a semester are required to report their new address to the Office of Admissions and Records. Students may update their residency at any time, however, a change in residency less than 30 days prior to the start of the term and once the term has started, will not be reflected in the current terms tuition rate.

Duplicate Diploma Request:
If you would like to request a duplicate diploma, please download and complete the Diploma Reorder form. Payment must be made tn the Cashier’s office, located on the first floor of Building A. Submit your Diploma Reorder form to the Office of Admissions and Records. Please allow two to three weeks for diploma re-order processing.

Enrollment Verification Request:
Students in need of enrollment verification for such purposes as health insurance coverage, good student standing, loan deferment, or employers must fill out and submit the Information Release Form available at the Office of Admissions and Records or by clicking on the link below.
Submit the authorization form:
- In person to the office of Admissions & Records, located 1st Floor One Stop Center
- E-mail to admissions@morton.edu.
The student will issue verification letters only upon signed consent. Enrollment verifications for a future semester will be processed between three and five business days after the semester's refund period. Please also allow three to five business days for processing for current or past semester verifications.

Joint Agreement:
This agreement allows residents of the Morton College district to enroll in programs at other Illinois public community colleges at rates the hosting colleges charge their in-district students. Applications for Joint Educational Agreements must be made 30 college business days before courses begin at the college the student wishes to attend. Proof of residence in Morton College District 527 must be provided at the time of application.
