The Morton College Library provides a variety of resources for instruction, research and learning by students, faculty, staff and community residents.
Books and Multi-Media at Morton College
The library carries over 10,000 books, DVD’s, and other non traditional items to support the curriculum, studies, and interests of the Morton College community. You can begin exploring through our Online Catalog, searching by either a topic, author, or title. To check out these items, you will need a valid ID card.
OverDrive
Morton College students, staff and faculty can access a wide selection of popular digital ebooks and audiobooks free through the Morton College Library. With their Panther Portal credentials, users can borrow from the digital collection by visiting OverDrive (select Morton College from the sign in page) or by downloading Libby, the award-winning one-tap reading app from Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Books and Multi-Media through I-Share
In addition to the holdings of the Morton College library, current Morton College Students and Faculty/Staff have borrowing privileges at 90+ different college and university libraries through our I-Share system, giving students access to over 32 million books, CD’s, DVD’s, and other items. Articles & Databases
Morton College also has over 70 databases in a wide variety of disciplines available online 24/7 to the Morton College community. These resources can be accessed anywhere, both on and off-campus. When off-campus, you will simply have to enter your Panther Portal/Blackboard username and password.
