Disability Awareness Month: Labels are for Jars Not People

Did you know October is Disability Awareness Month?

Morton College’s Student Disability Services is hosting a series of events to create awareness and assist students with disabilities. All events are hosted remotely on Zoom.

Labels are for Jars Not People – 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, October 15th

The conversation will include discussions on ableism, language, microaggressions and barriers disabled students encounter based on labels.
