I want to enroll in a degree or certificate program

I have completed coursework at another community college and/or university and I want to apply.

1. Apply for Admission
Apply for admission and submit all high school transcripts or GED test scores, and transcripts from all previously attended colleges to the Office of Admission and Records. International students should submit the International Student Application (PDF),

2. Meet with an advisor
An advisor can identify if you have completed college level English and/or Math by viewing an official or unofficial college transcript. You can also refer to the Getting Started Checklist (PDF Download Below) to see if you need to take a Placement Exam. An advisor will identify the classes required for a desired degree/certificate and determine whether an official evaluation of credit should be completed. To meet with an advisor, call (708) 656-8000, Ext. 2250.

3. Submit official transcripts if you are planning in obtaining a degree from Morton College
Students who have attended other colleges and universities will have their official transcripts evaluated by the Office of Admissions and Records. Official transcripts are transcripts that are sealed in an envelope with the institutions stamp/seal/signature on the envelope. View the conditions under which transfer credit is accepted. Students planning on receiving/applying for Financial Aid must submit official transcripts to the Office of Admission of Records.
