High School Equivalency Testing
The State of Illinois has adopted three exams to serve as assessment tools for measuring high school equivalency - GED, HiSET and TASC. Candidates can now select which exam they prefer to take to attain this credential. Morton College has elected to offer both the GED and HiSET exams for individuals seeking to attain their high school equivalency credential.
Please note that these exams are only administered in a computerized format at this institution. The computerized versions of the GED and HiSET are offered most Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the fall and spring semesters.
Due to an increased volume of placement testing during the summer months and an abbreviated summer work schedule, GED and HiSET will be offered on a limited number of Wednesdays from June through August.
Testing takes place in the Testing Center - Building C, 2nd floor - Room 233C. Candidates must self-register at the respective websites indicated below.
