Nursing

The program leading to the Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nursing Degree is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Graduates are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensing Examination for the Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN). 

Upon completion of admission requirements and the first three semesters of the program, students may choose to exit with a Practical Nursing certificate and apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). The Licensed Practical Nursing certificate is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
