ART-101 - 2-D Fundamentals

Students explore the foundations of two-dimensional art in making experimental,abstract compositions on flat surfaces with a range of materials. Through the formalelements of design - line, value, color, texture and shape - they develop their perceptivepowers rather than produce finished works of art. The student translatesobservations into innovative conceptual patterns. Studio six hours per week.
