The Morton College Adult Education Department offers FREE English Language Acquisition (ELA) courses to students whose native language is not English to help them improve their speaking, listening, writing and reading skills.

The Morton College Adult Education Department offers both math and language arts ABE and ASE classes that prepare students to take the Illinois HSEC test.
Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes work on improving basic academic skills, such as reading, writing, and mathematics. The classes help students transition into ASE courses.
Adult Secondary Education (ASE) courses are intended for adults who seek to earn the high school equivalency certificate. It provides a comprehensive review of all test areas in the GED exams.
