Don Sykora

Automotive Technology Instructor Don Sykora has over thirty years of automotive experience. He is an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician and also holds certifications in the areas of Advanced Level Engine Performance and Automobile Service Consultant and as a Mobile Electronics Certified Professional (MECP) Installer. Don is a member of the North American Council of Automotive Teachers, currently serving on the Board of Directors. He undergoes ongoing vehicle update training and holds aΒ M.Ed. in professional technical education, a B.S. in automotive technology management and an A.A.S. in automotive technology.

George L. Fortier Jr.

Adjunct Faculty member George Fortier has over thirty-eight years of experience as an automobile technician. George has maintained his ASE Master Automobile Technician certification since 1981. He has attained the status of both General Motors Master Technician and the General Motors Mark of Excellence. George actively participates in organizing the annual Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade, which helps to ensure that every child has a Christmas.

Duane Smith

Adjunct Faculty member Duane Smith has over forty years of experience as a General Motors Automobile Service Technician. A transmission diagnosis and repair specialist, Duane is an ASE certified Master Automobile Technician and has earned recognition as a General Motors Master Automotive and Transmission Technician.
