The Jedlicka Performing Arts Center is a professional, non-equity 346-seat theatre located just 12 minutes away from the Chicago Loop, on the campus of Morton College in Cicero, IL. The acclaimed theatre, now in its 34th year, produces six shows a season, sells nearly 10,000 tickets a year and is one of the busiest non-equity theatres in the Chicago area.
Support from Morton College and its Board of Trustees has allowed the JPAC to grow and nurture enthusiasm for the arts in local students and community members. WGN Radio deemed the JPAC “…a cultural treasure.”
A former mob hitman, Phil is in Hollywood trying to make it as a television actor. He's had a few bit parts but is hardly a success, and he is largely supported by his wife Susie, a waitress.
Unfortunately, Susie desperately wants something in return, something Phil is not prepared or eager to give: a child.
Phil is going nowhere fast when Sal, a mysterious man from his past, appears and offers him the chance to return to an exciting life of crime.
Performances include Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 3 PM throughout the run of the show.
