Exam Make Up

  • Testing Policies

    • Students must have a picture ID to take an exam.
    • Cheating will NOT be tolerated. If cheating occurs, the instructor will be notified and the test will be taken away at the discretion of the proctor.
    • There will be NO talking, NO looking at another student's papers, NO use of cell phones or any electronic devices (including their use as calculators) and NO communication between test takers in the testing room. If these behaviors occur, the instructor will be notified and the test will be pulled.
    • All books and book bags must be kept on the floor under the desks or on coat hooks.
    • If the test has a time limit, (e.g., 50 or 70 minutes), the proctor must allow for all the time allocated – even if a student may be able to complete the test in less time. So if a test is scheduled for 75 minutes and a student arrives to take the test one hour (60 minutes) prior to the close of the make-up room, the student will not be allowed to take the exam at that time.
    • When the allocated time has elapsed, the proctor will inform students that time is up and tell the student to quickly finish the last question the student is working on. The instructor will be notified if the student works on the exam past the allotted exam period.
