Curriculum

  • The Creative Curriculum

Our everyday decisions are guided by a leading, research–based program, The Creative Curriculum for Preschool.

This program provides our children with the opportunity to build, create, experiment, learn, grow and develop. The program implements teaching and learning best practices based on the latest theory and research and follows the Illinois Early Learning Standards.

The Creative Curriculum balances both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning with an emphasis on responding to children’s learning style.

The Curriculum builds on childrens' strengths and interests in early literacy, math, science, social studies, arts and technology, yet never loses sight of the primary importance of social/emotional development in children’s learning.
