    Confidential Reporting

Individuals who witness or are the victim of crime, but who wish to remain anonymous, may report the crime to the Morton College Police Department on a confidential basis.

To do so, individuals should specifically request that they remain anonymous.

An anonymous report ensures that the occurrence of the crime will be included in the Annual Crime Statistics and Security Report and assists the Department in determining if a pattern of crime exists in regard to location, method or suspect.

A report also enables the Department, in appropriate circumstances, to alert the campus community to potential dangers.

Please note that filing an anonymous report may limit the ability of the Department to provide specific assistance or to investigate or solve a crime.

Those with information pertaining to a crime on campus, whether present or future, may anonymously submit a Morton College Campus Police Crime Report Formsubmit an online form or submit a tip via e-mail

All information will be kept strictly confidential.
