Adult Education Community Programming and Outreach (AECPO) is dedicated to building a strong future by providing community-based programs, activities, and services.
Adult Basic Education (ABE)
These tuition-free pre-GED classes help students improve basic academic skills such as reading, writing and mathematics in order to transition the GED program. For more information, download the ABE/GED Brochure (PDF).
GED Classes General Educational Development (GED)
GED classes help students prepare for the GED test subjects – mathematics, science, social studies, arts/literature and writing skills. The cost is a minimal fee of $3.00 per credit hour. For more information, download the ABE/GED Brochure (PDF). Eligible students may also earn their GED through the i-Pathways online program.
English as a Second Language (ESL)

Project CARE (Community Adult Reading Experience)
Project CARE is Morton College’s volunteer adult literacy program, which uses trained volunteer tutors to teach adult students seeking assistance with reading and writing,and/or adults who are learning English as a Second Language. For more information, download the Project CARE brochure (PDF).
Bridge to Healthcare Careers
The Bridge to Healthcare Careers Program introduces students to
careers in the field of health care while improving their academic
skills in preparation for taking the GED Tests (if required) and enroll in Morton College's Healthcare Career Certificate
